RVP42-9BW is a Motion radar sensor with a suitable mounting height of 2-9m, capable of detecting moving objects such as forklifts and pedestrians. It has a dual relay that can accurately detect only vehicle or only pedestrians. It can also adjust the sensor sensitivity, detection range, forward and backward direction recognition, horizontal filtering, installation height and other functions through the remote control or mobile phone APP, so as to adapt to different case environments.

It is mainly used in various industrial door application scenarios and some signal trigger, the horizontal detection distance can reach 10m, and it can also be used in some scenarios that require accurate detection of vehicle signals only. • 1. Car Detect Only / People Detect Only

  • Detection Mechanism: The radar distinguishes between pedestrians and vehicles by analyzing characteristics such as speed, frequency, reflective area, and movement patterns.
  • Dual Relays: The radar has two relays that manage pedestrian and vehicle signals separately. Parameters can be set to deactivate one relay, allowing the radar to detect either vehicles only or pedestrians only.

• 2. Horizontal Filtration

  • Detection Area Limitation: By restricting the detection area, the radar effectively filters out interfering signals from other directions, such as objects moving in neighboring areas.
  • Lateral Movement Exclusion: The radar will not trigger when pedestrians and vehicles move laterally across the door, reducing the chance of false triggering.

• 3. Longitudinal Orientation Recognition

  • Movement Detection: Similar to horizontal filtration, the radar can recognize the movement of objects in both forward and backward directions.
  • Adjustable Functions:
    • A: Detects only forward movement.
    • B: Detects only backward movement.
    • C: Detects both forward and backward movement.

• 4. Setting by Remote Control or Mobile App

  • Remote Control: Allows for quick and responsive setup.
  • Mobile App: Offers a simple and intuitive interface, though saving data via Bluetooth may require 30-45 seconds due to transmission delays.

• 5. Maximum Installation Height Up to 9m

  • Installation Range: The radar can be mounted at heights ranging from 2 to 9 meters.
  • Recommended Height: For optimal performance and to avoid accidental contact, it is recommended to install the radar at a height of 3 meters or more.

  • Levels of Adjustment: Available in small, medium, and large area settings.
